Choosing Valet Bay Hire
The right hire period depends on the work planned, your experience and whether washing, drying, polishing or coating stages need additional time indoors.
Quick answer
Public hire starts from £80 for two hours and is designed for private owners. Trade hire starts from £50 for a three-hour session. Full-day, weekend and overnight options suit longer projects, with overnight trade vehicles collected by 8:30am unless another arrangement is confirmed.
Choose public or trade hire first
Public sessions are for private owners and enthusiasts working on their own vehicles. Trade sessions are intended for professional valeters, detailers and automotive businesses completing customer or commercial work. Selecting the correct route ensures that pricing, access and expectations match how the bay will be used.
Use short sessions for focused work
A two-hour public or three-hour trade session suits a planned wash, interior clean, inspection or compact maintenance task. List the stages in advance and allow time for setup, drying, checking the finish and leaving the bay and supplied equipment in the agreed condition. Trying to compress paint correction or coating into a short booking can compromise the job.
Book a full day for multi-stage projects
Full-day access gives more realistic time for decontamination, intensive interiors, machine polishing and detailed finishing. Public full-day hire is £200 and trade full-day hire is £140. The difference reflects the user type and booking route; availability and included equipment should be confirmed before the session.
Understand weekend and overnight access
Public weekend hire at £350 suits enthusiasts completing a larger personal project without rushing stages. Trade full-day and overnight hire is £170 and can support work needing longer indoor access or curing time. Overnight vehicles must be collected by 8:30am the following morning unless another arrangement has been expressly agreed.
Confirm equipment and bring consumables
The facility includes an indoor wash area, drainage, Kranzle K7 pressure washer, inline spotless water and professional lighting. Longer applicable sessions may include extraction, polishing and detailing equipment. Bring your preferred products and consumables unless a different arrangement has been confirmed, and discuss unusual electrical or specialist-equipment requirements first.
